This article should give you a rough idea of my work for The Sinking City. I also commented on evolving game builds, offered further ideas regarding the use of digital urban environments for both telling and supporting stories, and provided Frogwares with a set of documents covering most aspects of imaginary planning for horror purposes. I provided the team with general urbanistic guidelines, suggestions on dev tools, urban image concepts, and specific sectoral & generalized approaches to the creation of a city that -besides everything else- would be ideal for horror. I was approached to work on The Sinking City as an urban consultant. The game is out now for Windows, PS4, and Xbox One. Lovecraft-inspired open world game The Sinking City, aims to successfully approach cosmic horror, and the studio has wisely decided to create a tailor-made urban setting to facilitate its interactive storytelling.
